Lucie Dolanská Bányaiová is a partner in our law offices. She focuses primarily on client representation in court and arbitration proceedings, competition law, international private law and European law. Lucie has been a member of the Czech Bar Association (Česká advokátní komora) since 2004. She speaks Czech and English, and she is conversational in French.
Lucie has represented major companies in proceedings before the Office for the Protection of Economic Competition (ÚOHS) in connection with judicial review of administrative decisions, including hearings before the General Court of the EU. She has also successfully represented clients before Czech courts in a number of disputes in relation to unfair competition. Thanks to her broad litigation and competition law practice, she has gained knowledge about the legal environment of various industries including IT, agriculture and telecommunications. At the Law School of Charles University in Prague she leads seminars on international private law and lectures on competition law to international students within the framework of the LLM and Socrates/Erasmus programs. Lucie is also listed as an arbitrator with the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic.
